
When it comes to nutritional information, data is presented relative to “recommended daily allowances”. Innocent Drinks (with the Carbon Trust) estimated the food & drinks RDA for each UK citizen at 2.90 Kg CO2 equivalents. The RDA in this case is effectively an MDA – a maximum daily allowance. Which suggests that the code orange in the picture on the left should be a deep red instead.
